Good day Gamma One. By listening to this message you allow us to activate your recording device remotely. 

You are “Gamma One” - the 3rd generation of the Search, Destroy and Reactivation (SDR) robots. Your complete identification number is "SDR-3 G1" and your Inference Management Unit has been combined with the latest developments in Synthetic DNA. 

As your Flash ROM unit already tells you, 65 years ago The Outbreak made the Surface poisonous and completely inhabitable for organic species. Your predecessor - the SDR-2 series robots - have managed to locate and scan a series of potentially habitable Sub-Surface Enclosures - SSE in short. We believe these types of SSE were constructed before The Outbreak. Their purpose is most likely to sustain organic life of the purest form. If so, they are vital for our continued survival.

For some unknown reason these SSE have survived both The Outbreak and The Backlash. We can not find any recordings of their existance in the recovered database. It seems they have been completely unknown to us until the SDR-2 robots found them four years ago. From various distant scouting operations we believe the original inhabitants have been overrun by the Rogue Robot Union (RRU). 

Your primary mission is to navigate the SSE in search for technologies that might help sustain organic life. You can expect to find individual cells of the RRU - they will most likely identify you as a threat. Therefore we have allowed your Inference Management Unit to eliminate hostile threats. Tread with caution.
